Intro Session Email

Where are you at? I trust you have taken the opportunity within the past few days to ask yourself that question and to talk to God to tell Him exactly where you currently are in your walk of life. He wants to have dialog with you. Trust Him completely by building on your relationship with Him.

Remember to pray out to Him during the next 10 weeks, "Lord, open my mind that I might have understanding." I pray and ask that I'll see things in the Word that I haven't seen before; that my eyes will be opened to areas of my life that need to be changed.

I have to share this treasure with you - it is AMAZING! Yes, I've read it before but it has a profound meaning to me as we start this journey of study right now. It is Proverbs 2:1 - 9 Okay, I know it's long - but I can't help it - it is golden!!

My daughter, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment and lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear/reverence of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. (I love the YOU WILL part - that's a promise!)

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice and preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path! (Yes, another YOU WILL promise!)

Isn't that a wonderful treasure of truth? Stew over that awhile and let the words become rich in your heart.

What a wonderful start Monday night was to this study! I enjoyed hearing from all of you and learning more about each one of you. I must say it did make me hungry for mint chocolate chip ice cream!

How are you doing on your homework so far? Don't be afraid - dig in and get dirty! You will be blessed by seeing things you might have read a million times but it becomes new and fresh in ways you wouldn't have expected.

This is another treasure of scripture that I pray will envelop each of us this study.

Psalm 27:4
One thing, I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to inquire in His temple.

God bless you abundantly this week and next in study! I'll see you back on the 28th. Check out the pics on the next post down - You all look BEAUTIFUL!
