Session 4 - Email

I trust everyone had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving holiday! I am so grateful to be blessed and have so much to be thankful for in my life! The first and foremost which is the opportunity to know our Lord and Savior - Jesus Christ! What a wonderful blessing and privilege it is to be able to study, learn and talk about Him freely without fear of abuse or even death.

How's your construction going along? Have you put on your hard had and work boots this week? Day 3 was one full of terrific truths about the Holy Spirit! I love that He is our helper! Oh, and do I need help!!!

I'm so thankful that God didn't leave us to fend for ourselves trying to figure life out on our own. He provides us with the power to accomplish what He would have us accomplish in our lives. Yes, we do have a part in this which is in surrendering daily to Him and totally yielded to Him in every aspect of our lives. Remember, manna gathering - daily!

Wow, we are halfway through our study together ladies! Hard to imagine! Our next meeting will be December 7th and then we will have our holiday break and will meet again on Jan. 11th - 2010!

The Beth Moore conference will be held on March 26th and March 27th at the Tucson Convention Center. The price is $60.00. You can purchase your tickets and make hotel arrangements on the following website www.lproof.org under events.

Please check out www.awomansheartpalmvalley.blogspot.com for praises/prayer requests!

Session 3 - E-mail

Thank you for sharing your praises on what God has been doing in your lives! What an encouragement to hear about His blessings being showered down on individuals! I know it was an encouragement for me to hear about family members coming to Christ. know I have several whom I would love see that happen to and I am sure there our others that have the same.

As we are studying the tabernacle, I have enjoyed seeing the parallels between the Old Testament and the New Testament. I must say I'm extremely grateful that I'm under the new covenant not having to deal with the sacrificing of animals! However, it humbles me to see what the perfect Lamb of God chose to do for my sin upon the cross!

Three years ago, I had the opportunity to see a life size replica of the tabernacle which was in town. Being a visual learner, it was extremely helpful for me to "see" what the Bible describes in Exodus. Check out this website which is www.messiahsmansion.com. This organization travels and sets up this display leading tours to describe in depth each area of the tabernacle. On their website, are some additional study tools to learn more about the sanctuary, furniture, altars, etc. I highly recommend it! Just look for the "studies" tab at the top of their website.

God bless you in your studies - ask that God open your eyes to His word! It is a powerful week of study. Yes, some of it may seem monotonous at times but hang in there - look for the revelation of Himself in each days study - truly amazing what God will reveal to you! From the Ark of the Testimony - God's Mercy Seat (Christ), the only entrance (Christ) which is located on the East to be able to enter to have fellowship with God, the altar for sacrificing for atonement (Christ ), wash basin (Christ) the only one who can wash us clean from our sins, etc. Loving it, loving it, loving it!

Especially, I have loved the holy place - the sanctuary of fellowship. How important the significance of being right with God is so that we can have direct fellowship with Him. Recognizing the sin in my life and repenting of it. Realizing not to take it casually that Christ suffered for it on the cross and paid the ultimate price for it - death. I ask that as you look in the bronze basin of cleansing (His Word) that God reveal that to you.

God bless you with understanding, knowledge, wisdom and insight into His word! Keep gathering your "manna!"

Ps. 84:9,10
"Look upon our shield, O God; look with favor on your anointed one. Better is one day in your courts than a thousand elsewhere; I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of the my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked."

Session 2 - Email

Have I told you lately how much I LOVE hearing what God has been revealing through your daily studies? Well, in case I haven't told you I ABSOLUTELY love it! Seeing how God uses the different days of study to impress each of us differently is a blessing For one it was gathering, for another His grace is sufficent and new every morning, and for another that Jesus is THE Word and many more. It just shows how personal our God is!

I hope you were as encouraged as I was by one of the verses we focused on Monday night.

2 Peter 1:3,4.
"His divine power has given us ALL things that pertain to life and godliness through the knowledge of Him who called us by glory and virtue by which we have been given exceedingly great and precious promises that through these you may be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust."

How do we have knowledge of Him? Knowing His word!

Okay, I have to quote another precious scripture which emphasis again how important it is to know His word!

Proverbs 4:13
"Take firm hold of instruction, do not let go; Keep her, for she is your life."

Please remember to pray for each other. What a great and wonderful gift we have to be able to go into the throne room of God and lift up one another to Him!

God bless you on your "manna" gathering each "morning!"

See you back on November 9th!

Session 1 - Email

Over and over again, our God never ceases to amaze me of His goodness! Thank you again for all your prayers and suport during this difficult time of losing my Dad. It's three weeks ago tonight and as I reflect on his life and our times together I can't help but be so incredibly grateful that he is rejoicing with my Lord tonight! What a hope, joy, and comfort that is to my mom and me!

Well, I am excited to get further into this study and see what the Lord is wanting to reveal about himself to us. Looking back over Week 1, I loved seeing how He was continually offering a bridge between His people and Himself to allow communication with Him. He's a God of relationship! He wants us to know him intimately. Not just a surface knowledge, but deeply know Him. Oh, I ask that we began each day of our study with that request of Him, that he fill us with the knowledge of Himself so that we may become more like him. To walk like Him, to talk like Him, to think like Him, to respond like Him.

In Week 2, we will be studying the concept of God seeking to set His people free from their dependence on themselves so that they depend instead on Him. I love how Beth put this, "That our own insufficiencies are invitations to experience the supernatural sufficiency of a universally powerful, personally responsible God!" Hold on tight I think it might be a wild ride in homework for week 2!

God bless you more than you can think or imagine sweet daughter's of His! I look forward to seeing you Oct. 26th for Session 2!

Intro Session Email

Where are you at? I trust you have taken the opportunity within the past few days to ask yourself that question and to talk to God to tell Him exactly where you currently are in your walk of life. He wants to have dialog with you. Trust Him completely by building on your relationship with Him.

Remember to pray out to Him during the next 10 weeks, "Lord, open my mind that I might have understanding." I pray and ask that I'll see things in the Word that I haven't seen before; that my eyes will be opened to areas of my life that need to be changed.

I have to share this treasure with you - it is AMAZING! Yes, I've read it before but it has a profound meaning to me as we start this journey of study right now. It is Proverbs 2:1 - 9 Okay, I know it's long - but I can't help it - it is golden!!

My daughter, if you receive my words, and treasure my commands within you, so that you incline your ear to wisdom and apply your heart to understanding; Yes, if you cry out for discernment and lift up your voice for understanding, If you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures; then you will understand the fear/reverence of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. (I love the YOU WILL part - that's a promise!)

For the Lord gives wisdom; from His mouth comes knowledge and understanding; He stores up sound wisdom for the upright. He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice and preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, equity and every good path! (Yes, another YOU WILL promise!)

Isn't that a wonderful treasure of truth? Stew over that awhile and let the words become rich in your heart.

What a wonderful start Monday night was to this study! I enjoyed hearing from all of you and learning more about each one of you. I must say it did make me hungry for mint chocolate chip ice cream!

How are you doing on your homework so far? Don't be afraid - dig in and get dirty! You will be blessed by seeing things you might have read a million times but it becomes new and fresh in ways you wouldn't have expected.

This is another treasure of scripture that I pray will envelop each of us this study.

Psalm 27:4
One thing, I have desired of the Lord,
That will I seek:
That I may dwell in the house of the Lord
All the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord,
and to inquire in His temple.

God bless you abundantly this week and next in study! I'll see you back on the 28th. Check out the pics on the next post down - You all look BEAUTIFUL!
